Here are the photos for my letter. I’ve written to staedler about their pencil shapener leaking lead all the time. Using lead and smudging it I’ve tried to show my ‘frustration’ in this matter and even included a couple of drawings of possible ‘solutions’ to this problem.
Here is the ‘detail’ shot for me and martin’s thread. We chose this shot to match with Hell’s rather provocative advertisements and as a general ‘followup’ to the picking up of the pizza
Here is the ‘thread’ task. We got a pizza from hells and manipulated the cheese to suggest ‘hell’.
This is the poster placed in context. This image was NOT photoshopped apart from some brightness contrast settings.
Here is the digital version of the poster. I compared your average pair of scissors to something I found on the web: a pair of ‘laser guided scissors’. P.S. The image is actually ‘corrupted’ somehow, I’ve tried saving it from the photoshop files but the colour is going whack. The bottom bit is meant to be gray. Look at the context shot of poster for what I mean.
Here are the detail shots for my drawings. The images are composed in a way that starts from the least technical to the most; from top to bottom. I’ve found myself liking aspects of each of the drawings no matter how technical they are but I find myself drawn more to the less technical drawings.
Heres my six drawings for 101 where I tried to explore different styles. It was interesting to note that even though the styles were different I tend to include qualities which I felt most ‘comfortable’ with. If i had the opportunity to re-do this ask I would’ve chosen different mediums to work with besides from pen and pencil and try drawing the eye from more perspectives.
